75 million metric tons of fossil fuels are burned every day.

Two separate things are going up the stack simultaneously. One thing is our money that is forever lost in smoke. The second thing is 75 million metric tons of poison being blasted into the air. We can’t see that poison with the naked eye because that oil and coal is vaporized. Since we haven’t repealed the law of gravity yet, that vaporized poison falls back onto our beautiful planet where it contaminates our food, our water, our bodies, and all other species created by God. Let’s all thank God by destroying this magnificent planet God created for us as fast as possible.

The second radical energy plan is to capture the entire profit we provide to UI which was our capital until it was paid out for federal tax, paid out to stockholders for their dividends, and retained to squander later, from our monthly electric bills. Our capital could be returned to the CCEF to capitalize the rebates to build solar systems for all UI and CL&P customers throughout the entire state of Connecticut.

It shouldn’t take more than a second for the DPUC and the CT legislature to decide which radical energy plan to choose.

Once this proposal has been decided there needs to be a master agreement available for all rate payers with a PPA to finance and build solar power throughout the state of CT. This agreement will terminate at the end of the ninth year with a $1 buyout. The state of CT will then benefit from free, clean divine energy making Connecticut the most competitive economic state in America. That’s stage one, stage two will be tidal power to generate power at night and on cloudy days.

Keep in mind that when you are told there is clean coal, your intelligence was just insulted. You should laugh in the face of the person making that stupid, ridiculous lie.

Keep in mind when you are told that nuclear power emits no CO2 that to obtain uranium it must be dug out of the ground using huge shovels, trucks, and processing; all of which runs on billions of tons of fossil fuel being burned and exhausted to contaminate our planet. When you are told that France uses atomic energy, does that mean America needs to be stupid too?

The building of solar systems right now should be with the same vigor and urgency as the war machine built after the Pearl Harbor attack. The enormous competitive advantage generated within CT will entice solid manufacturing companies to open new factories in CT generating job opportunities for all CT citizens. New manufacturing businesses in CT will broaden the tax base, lowering taxes for all CT residents.

Solar = more jobs, lower taxes, less cancer, and much more. That’s a radical energy plan.

We must force the DA to order the arrest of one of the suspects named Larry Silverstein as the conspirator of the 9/11 attack by his manipulation of the security in his complex the WTC. For the controlled demolition experts to be able to rig the explosives and the detonation capability, the team of security people are all witnesses. Let's hear the security personnel be called before the grand jury to explain where they were every day DURING THE MONTHS JULY, AUGUST, AND SEPTEMBER 2001, that allowed a huge team to rig the controlled demolition.

Who orders the security personnel into their assignments? That person would know how he had been manipulated to allow the controlled demolition team to rig the charges and the detonation. Larry Silverstein can identify who that security team boss is so he can be called to testify to the grand jury.

I will gladly help the NYC DA do his job. Larry Silverstein would be petrified at Rikers Island. Put him right into the general population as a toy for the inmates.

NYC just locked up Plaxico Burress for shooting himself. Silverstein would be a flight risk so he can't get bailed out so he can and will run away. Silverstein ripped off $4.5 billion from the insurance companies. Charge Silverstein with insurance fraud now.

MAINSTREAM MEDIA CAUGHT COVERING UP 9/11 CONTROLLED DEMOLITION

There is a conspiracy by the entire mainstream media to cover-up significant events, which occurred on 9/11. That makes it certain, beyond any doubt; that senior government people including President Bush ordered and rigged controlled demolition at the WTC. The emotion on the side that wants to protect President Bush and others prevents any legitimate and thoughtful debate concerning the facts reported herein.

If you find it so repugnant to learn that senior government officials including President Bush ordered and executed the controlled demolition to collapse the WTC and murder 2700 people,
a) do you prefer not to learn the truth? or
b) do you prefer to learn the truth and demand justice?

On the day devoted to 9/11 events the media forgot to mention its own decision not to cover the collapse of the 47-story building designated as Building 7. Can that be a coincidence driven by independent management or is it driven by a conspiracy agreement to not analyze the news blackout for the past eight years.

There are plenty of goofy conspiracy claims about a variety of topics but this claim of silence on Building 7 is being perpetuated by the main stream media in spite of many other stories about 9/11 that are minimal in comparison with the collapse of the 47 story building that wasn’t hit by a plane. Can silence be a story? It can’t if no one notices.

Isn’t the near free fall speed collapse of the WTC Towers a powerful story? Free fall speed is the speed at which an object falls through air. Hundreds of powerful columns constructed vertically to hold the entire weight of a building will slow the speed. The near free fall speed of each of the three buildings can only be caused by exploding the massive steel columns that were built to hold the weight of the entire building. When you see the columns cut into straight pieces and strewn onto the tops of nearby buildings the accepted media version becomes ridiculous.

The story that demonstrates a media conspiracy to manipulate American citizens to behave against their own personal benefit will not be broadcast to its audience by the media. To be duped into believing the heat generated by jet fuel fires caused the WTC columns to weaken and crash to the ground murdering 2700 citizens including 343 firefighters and 23 police officers who came to rescue civilians is not to our benefit.

People hate to admit they were wrong. They really hate to admit they were purposely misled by an authoritative source they have trusted. Every media company from the far right, through the middle, to the far left has covered up both the building 7 collapse and the near free fall speed collapse. Both of these basic facts provide vivid proof that only controlled demolition was used to collapse all three WTC Towers. Actual photos taken on September 21, 2001, show thousands of steel beams strewn on the ground and on top of adjacent buildings. The vast majority of these beams were not bent from heat but were cut from explosions that slashed through the steel.

It is easier to comprehend that controlled demolition brought down building 7 in near free fall speed than to understand that controlled demolition also collapsed the North and South Towers after each had been hit by a plane. It is the omission by the media of the building 7 collapse that indicates the media’s decision to join the conspiracy.

The work required to strap explosives to the columns of the vast WTC buildings had to involve more than 100 experts more than six weeks to complete. The North and South Towers were 110 stories and Building 7 was 47 stories. To be able to complete this job in time for the attack, the security force at the WTC needed to be manipulated to allow access by the expert commandos who strapped the explosives directly onto the hundreds of steel columns that needed to be removed to allow the near, free fall collapse of all three buildings. The columns were exploded out of the buildings. Many pieces of columns fell onto the roofs of nearby buildings.

The undisputed fact that allowed all three buildings to fall straight down into their own basements at free fall speed are the two simple elements that prove beyond any doubt that only controlled demolition was necessary to accomplish that result. The reason WTC building 7 has been blacked out by the entire media is that it wasn’t hit by a plane. There was no jet fuel fire in building 7.

The essential evidence that proves only controlled demolition would allow any building to collapse in almost free fall speed must be the simultaneous removal of its vertical columns that provides thin air to remove any resistance to slow that speed. Failure to remove the vertical columns would be powerful resistance and will absolutely slow the speed of the collapse and would have made the buildings topple rather than fall straight into each basement.

Not only did the media omit any report after 9/11 that mentioned the collapse of building 7, the report by the 911 Commission also omitted the collapse of building 7. Can any reasonable person imagine that none of the reporters who were physically stationed at the WTC after the planes hit the Towers and who mentioned hearing explosions on 9/11, never mentioned hearing explosions during subsequent broadcasts because they all independently decided not to report those explosions? The explosions they reported on 9/11 were directly the cause of controlled demolition and the reason every single reporter never mentioned hearing those explosions after 9/11 is more proof the entire media jumped into the conspiracy.

It is a common daily event for the media to replay almost every story it reports, dozens or sometimes hundreds of times. The omission of any reporting on the explosions they heard on 9/11 while they were at the WTC is conclusive evidence for their decision to be part of the criminal mass murder at the WTC by our government. There is no magic number of people who join any conspiracy. The popular notion that it would have taken thousands of people to implement the controlled demolition proves nothing. Of course that notion sounds unlikely, but the entire 9/11 attack is unlikely.

The deduction that the WTC security must have allowed the expert crew access to rig the explosives becomes unquestionable. To learn from the security staff that was working in the WTC how this staff was manipulated by its management, would require an investigation by a team of law enforcement officers directed to solve the mass murder.

The secret to black out the Building 7 story by the media is now undeniable. That secret indicates that voters are being manipulated and brainwashed.

Expecting media companies to expose their own criminal alliance to aid and abet the controlled demolition of the three WTC Towers would be silly.

We can all go through life being bamboozled from accepting the obvious or we can choose to consider very carefully that the media keeps bombarding its audience with a con job designed to make us accept wars, contaminated food, unfair taxation, globalization, and the duopoly lockout of a third party.

The National Geographic Channel is a media outlet that specializes in documentaries. When NatGeo advertized its broadcast titled 9/11: Conspiracy & Science I watched it twice. During the NatGeo two-hour broadcast I intently looked for the collapse of building 7. NatGeo showed building 7 collapse two times, but if you blink you’ll miss both times.

The other issue that was peculiar was the omission by Richard Gage concerning the near free fall speed of the collapse by each of the three WTC Towers. The twin towers each took 15 seconds to collapse and building 7 took 6.5 seconds. I have watched Richard Gage make his presentation more than six times. Gage shows, explains, and high lights the free fall speed issue because it is the strongest evidence that proves only controlled demolition is capable of allowing the free fall speed collapse.

I spoke with Gage on Monday 9/7/09 to learn if he had forgotten to mention the free fall collapse evidence. Gage assured me that he mentioned it clearly but NatGeo edited his statement out of their documentary. The fact that the National Geographic Channel would take the chance to jeopardize its own credibility eight years after the media conspiracy began is itself a measure of confidence that its audience will ignore the many speeches by Gage available on the internet.

If higher education in general, and if HCC students in particular refuse to tackle the issue that concerns the media’s power to misinform citizens and voters, the American system of government is doomed. Silence can’t be a story if no one notices.

Americans protect traitors and liars. Yesterday on 9/10 news broadcasts kept repeating the incident when South Carolina Congressman blurted "liar" at President Obama while he addressed the Congress at the Capitol.

Did Obama lie? No one cares if he did. This is the stupid American culture. America wastes massive amounts of money on the illegal war that Bush began after he ordered a team of experts to rig controlled demolition that collapsed the 3 WTC Towers.

The entire media never broadcast the WTC 47 story Building 7 collapse since 9/11. No plane hit Building 7. No jet fuel created any fire in building 7 and no story about that uniquely different incident was published or broadcast.

While the media today is featuring 9/11 it completely ignores the Building 7 story. The precise time of 6.5 seconds measured the time of 47 stories to hit the ground into its own basement. The entire media obviously knows that 6.5 seconds is a free fall drop into thin air allowed by explosions that blasted the steel columns out from under the building. This media silence can only be by a conspiracy.

9/11 George Martin -- Hall of Fame Giant player leads march

On 9/13 Sunday at 9:00 AM a march will begin from the Jersey side of the GW Bridge to Giant's Stadium. Hall of Famer George Martin has organized this march.

I will join him and I hope all those in the NYC area will too. George Martin is raising funds to pay medical expenses for 9/11 workers who developed medical problems. I will try to convince George that controlled demolition was ordered by Bush to make the damage far worse than it would have been if the FBI had arrested the hijackers to prevent the attack. The more people who speak with George to convince him not to look the other way at the conclusive evidence that proves Bush and other traitors need to be arrested now, tried, and sentenced to the Super Max in Florence, CO, the better chance we will have.

Keep in mind that George Martin has spectacular connections with other Giant players like Phil Simms who are in position to bust the traitors who pulled this crime. I am going to list a series of indisputable facts that prove your statements to Congressman Himes intended to mislead him.

Congressman Himes asked, “I would like to know if you found any traces of this chemical (thermite) compound in your investigations?”

That question was ignored. You never denied finding thermite.

On 9/11, broadcasters from each news company rushed to the WTC after the planes crashed into the two towers. They mentioned hearing explosions. Then on 9/12 and thereafter the entire broadcast industry never mentioned the explosions. Was the unanimous blackout a bizarre coincidence or was it an orchestrated conspiracy to prevent the controlled demolition from examination by the public?

NIST has officially denied and denounced the molten metal seen spilling like a bright red waterfall, seconds before the North tower collapsed. Molten metal was discovered by firefighters while they searched for bodies. If thermite didn’t create the molten metal what other explosive device might have caused the molten metal, NIST denied? It is that official denial that discredits NIST.

The collapse of all three buildings is on record. The speed of the collapse is only a second slower than a free fall collapse. To accomplish a free fall collapse would require the removal of all the columns, exploded out of the way simultaneously. If even one of the many columns had been allowed to stand, the buildings would have toppled in the direction away from the standing column.

Only a large team of expert controlled demolition people, who were purposely allowed to rig the thousands of charges throughout all three buildings, could detonate the charges with the precision needed to accomplish the perfect collapse of each of the WTC buildings into their own basements. That brings us to the security issue you raised.

You state, “It is unlikely that this quantity of thermite could have been carried into the building and placed around columns without being detected.” The known facts make it clear that the security of the WTC was purposely manipulated to prevent detection. That is the simplest part of the elaborate conspiracy. It is Larry Silverstein who obtained control of the lease from the Port Authority on July 24, 2001 (seven weeks before 9/11) and had the power to manipulate the security of the WTC, who is one of the prime suspects of the controlled demolition.

For Silverstein to be in the loop to perform his part of the crime, he needed to be tipped off by very senior government officials who had access to the intelligence known to exist by both the FBI and the NSA.

The entire 9/11 story is unlikely. It is unlikely and irrational that innocent officials would leap into this spectacular crime to protect the most senior American officials who planned and authorized the controlled demolition to make the attack far worse. They had to know firefighters and other first responders would be crushed and blown to bits while they worked to rescue civilians after the planes hit two of the three buildings.

The media in concert never mentioned the collapse of building 7 after 9/11. I never heard about building 7 for approximately five years after 9/11. The majority of Americans have never learned that building 7 collapsed. That part of this massive conspiracy is so simple and obvious that there is no defense imaginable.

Your effort to mislead Congressman Himes needs to be prosecuted for obstructing justice. I don’t believe that you are simply stupid. You are outright liars. There needs to be public revulsion. The public hates the thought that we have been taken for an incredible ride starting both wars and other crazy behavior.

Banking on the stupidity of the public seems almost a guarantee. It’s going to take a major effort by blogs to clarify the truth. Then a legitimate prosecution is another risk.

I recommend an interview by you of Richard Gage, an expert architect who will testify that scientific evidence makes the claims by the government, NIST, and the 9/11 Commission – preposterous, misleading, and potentially obstructing justice.

The collapse of WTC building 7 was eliminated from the 9/11 Commission report. This omission is comparable to an AWOL military person.

More than 100 firefighters at the WTC on 9/11 testified hearing explosions. The explosions were documented on film and showed pieces of the 247 columns flying in all directions. It is impossible for those buildings to collapse into their own basements, at free fall speed without the synchronistic removal of all those columns.

The order to ship those slashed columns as scrap illegally destroyed evidence because that evidence would have been able to prove controlled demolition.

To protect the short list of suspects able to order controlled demolition is an act of treason. High praise, diligent, and thoughtful admiration were responses by Richard Gage, Gregg Roberts, Kyle Nash, and me after we reflected upon our meeting Friday in your office. Our gratitude for your indulgence will be expressed to the millions of citizens who read websites and blogs that focus on justice for the domestic terrorists that perpetrated the controlled demolition of the WTC.

We also appreciate the time and effort in our meeting by Rachel Kelly and other staff who coordinated our meeting. Friday July 17, 2009, is a new beginning for the effort we share to seek the truth and justice by revealing the domestic terrorists who planned and executed the controlled demolition before the infamous 9/11 attack. The official act by the 9/11 Commission is an attempt to obstruct justice. Our mission will confront the entire 9/11 Commission staff who purposely omitted the testimony by witnesses who corroborated controlled demolition.

Many volunteers throughout America had requested a Congressional audience for an opportunity to introduce Richard Gage. Uniquely, you were the only US Congressman who personally met Richard Gage on this matter of supreme importance to make clear what really happened on 9/11.

The admiration by Richard Gage and his colleagues of you and your insightful response of the presentation was discussed at length after we left your office.

There will be a never ending attack to brand Richard Gage a “conspiracy nut”. Any person including you who requests a legitimate opportunity to hear Richard Gage testify to an official body will be attacked as a “conspiracy nut”. It is my personal opinion that suspects of the controlled demolition will employ the “conspiracy nut” defense because it has worked to discredit the allegations of controlled demolition.

For five years I accepted the government’s official explanation. Watching the two airplanes hit the North and South Towers is extremely convincing. I jumped to the conclusion that any time spent to consider a sinister plot by American officials of the 9/11 attack would be a waste of time.

What made me curious were the reporters and firefighters at the WTC on 9/11 who spontaneously mentioned hearing explosions, but then there were no follow-up reports by the entire media on 9/12 and beyond about the explosions they had heard on 9/11. To have an entire body of witnesses to a criminal act in synch to coincidentally dummy up to explain their own personal statements must certainly be the work of a conspiracy. The entire corporate media replays silly stories day and night for weeks. A few recent examples are the stories about Michael Phelps smoking a bong, Governor Sanford’s false claim that he hiked the Appalachian Trail instead of his journey to Argentina, and Sarah Palin’s decision to quit.

In lieu of my personal experience with other people, I am elated at the integrity you exhibited by inviting Richard Gage at my request to your office, and at the intellectually, honest comments and questions you posed during our meeting.

We keep electing an entire government that acts against our interests. To ask them for a new investigation into 9/11is to ask for a second cover-up. That is dumb on our part.

We keep failing to use the 9/11 inside job to create a third party because we are afraid to attack this entire government for its unanimous decision to protect the only possible suspects who knew we would be attacked. Only the President has the power to order the preparation for the WTC controlled demolition to make the attack a far greater catastrophe than it would have been.

“For the essential crisis management task, we depended on the Counterterrorism Security Group chaired by Dick Clarke to be the interagency nerve center. The CSG consisted of senior counterterrorism experts from CIA, the FBI, the Department of Justice, the Defense Department (including the Joint Chiefs of Staff), the State Department, and the Secret Service.
The CSG had met regularly for many years, and its members had worked through numerous periods of heightened threat activity. As threat information increased, the CSG met more frequently, sometimes daily, to review and analyze the threat reporting and to coordinate actions in response. CSG members also had ready access to their Cabinet Secretaries and could raise any concerns they had at the highest levels.

The threat reporting that we received in the spring and summer of 2001 was not specific as to time, nor place, nor manner of attack. Almost all of the reports focused on al Qaeda activities outside the United States, especially in the Middle East and North Africa.

In fact, the information that was specific enough to be actionable referred to terrorist operations overseas. More often, it was frustratingly vague. Let me read you some of the actual chatter that we picked up that spring and summer:

"Unbelievable news coming in weeks," "Big event ... there will be a very, very, very, very big uproar," "There will be attacks in the near future."

"Troubling, yes. But they don't tell us when; they don't tell us where; they don't tell us who; and they don't tell us how.”

Every single charge needed to be mounted by an expert who was trained for that work. The team of experts had to be allowed by the security force at the WTC to perform the necessary work of not only rigging every single charge but also of connecting the detonation needed to synchronize the explosions to make the towers collapse in free fall time.

The team of experts was intelligent, trained people who knew that firefighters would be in the buildings rescuing people when the North and South towers were exploded. The team of experts needed to be ordered to do their work by a powerful government official who had knowledge that the 9/11 attack would be coming soon.

Condoleezza Rice testified to the 9/11 Commission on Wednesday May 19, 2004, that the warnings she had of the attack failed to specify the exact time or from which airports the attack would emanate. Her knowledge of the attacks was known by the President too. What team of experts would be allowed by the WTC security force to rig the explosive devices that collapsed all three buildings?

The CSG consisted of senior counterterrorism experts from CIA, the FBI, the Department of Justice, the Defense Department (including the Joint Chiefs of Staff), the State Department, and the Secret Service.
The CSG had met regularly for many years, and its members had worked through numerous periods of heightened threat activity. As threat information increased, the CSG met more frequently, sometimes daily, to review and analyze the threat reporting and to coordinate actions in response. CSG members also had ready access to their Cabinet Secretaries and could raise any concerns they had at the highest levels.
The threat reporting that we received in the spring and summer of 2001 was not specific as to time, nor place, nor manner of attack. Almost all of the reports focused on al Qaeda activities outside the United States, especially in the Middle East and North Africa.
In fact, the information that was specific enough to be actionable referred to terrorist operations overseas. More often, it was frustratingly vague. Let me read you some of the actual chatter that we picked up that spring and summer: "Unbelievable news coming in weeks," "Big event ... there will be a very, very, very, very big uproar," "There will be attacks in the near future."
Troubling, yes. But they don't tell us when; they don't tell us where; they don't tell us who; and they don't tell us how.”
To order the preparations for the controlled demolition of the WTC you don’t need to know when, where, who, and how the attack will come. We know for a fact that controlled demolition was used to embellish the attack and we know directly from Rice’s testimony under oath that her team used that knowledge.
They are on record during the first two NSC meetings in January and February 2001 declaring their desire to attack Iraq. They are on record hundreds of times using the 9/11 attack as a reason that Bush used to attack Iraq.

Failing or refusing to connect the known controlled demolition to the only suspect with the power to rig the necessary explosives in the WTC is ignorant.

Dan Rather CBS nightly news anchor stated, “We’re going to show you a video tape of the collapse itself. For the third time today we’re going to show you, it is reminiscent of a building deliberately destroyed by dynamite to knock it down.”

The comments by CBS reporter Dan Rather and other witnesses at the WTC scene were never repeated since those moments on 9/11. That contrasts to the current story being replayed over and over right now when Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez met President Obama, shook his hand, and handed him a copy of his book. Last month there were hundreds of broadcasts of Olympic swimming great Michael Phelps smoking a bong. Why do media producers make these choices?

To be able to grasp the validity and purpose of the media it is important to be able to evaluate the censorship of an overwhelming event – explosions at the moment of the collapse of all three WTC buildings – compared to repeated broadcasts of inconsequential occurrences. For the entire American nation to ignore the comparison of news broadcasts that fills our minds with trivial nonsense while it censors a devastating crime capable only by the Commander in Chief is the essential issue being raised.

There are many other facts and evidence that point directly at President Bush besides the explosions that collapsed the WTC. Another fact is that the NORAD F-16 jet fighters stationed at Andrews AFB, 15 miles from DC, to protect the Pentagon from enemy attack were ordered to leave their post to be in a training exercise 180 miles south in North Carolina. I served in the Navy on board submarine USS Trigger and stood watch armed with a loaded .45 to prevent boarders on the boat and on the pier. Leaving that post would result in a Court Martial. Only the Commander in Chief has the power to order the NORAD General Ralph Eberhardt to have his pilots abandon the post. The Air Force has hundreds of F-16’s that could have been used for the training mission in North Carolina.

Which conspiracy theory do you prefer to believe? There is the government’s theory or there is the conspiracy reality proven by the evidence that Richard Gage presents that shows the footage and the commentary being broadcast at the scene by notable reporters and first responders. President Bush and his vast group of admirers love to claim that Bush kept us safe since 9/11. Bush neglects to explain that he kept us safe from himself.

The 9/11 Commission never mentioned one word about the collapse of Building 7 in its report. That omission is conclusive evidence that the 9/11 Commission covered-up the truth. To completely ignore the collapse of that 47 story building, never hit by any plane, speaks for itself. You need to really want to be misled to ignore that omission.
Controlled demolition needs thousands of charges synchronistically timed resulting in a free fall collapse. Typical features are direct evidence of explosives, dust clouds, cutter charges, and a total collapse of the steel structure ready for shipment.
Expert corroboration by control demolition experts stated that the columns of steel inside the buildings were removed by slashing the steel with thermate. Thermate is an incendiary pyrotechnic composition that can generate short bursts of exceedingly high temperatures focused on a small area for a short period of time.
WTC building 7 is a 47 story building 100 yards from the North Tower that had seven small fires. It was never hit by a plane. It collapsed after 5:00 PM on 9/11 about eight hours after the planes hit the WTC Towers.

Craig Bartner of the NYFD stated, “The whole time you’re hearing thoom, thoom, thoom, thoom, I think I know an explosion when I hear it. That didn’t sound like just a building fall down. I was real close to building 7 falling down. That’s one of the things I live with all the time and a lot of guys should be saying the same thing.”

After I heard numerous firefighters, reporters, and other people who were at the WTC complex within minutes of the two planes that crashed into the North and South Towers state that they heard explosions, I became suspicious. It never came to my mind that all of these people were hallucinating. To have hundreds of witnesses to any crime who were being ignored by law enforcement is extremely convincing that there is intimidation by very powerful officials who decided to gag the witnesses.

I have a personal experience of observing a conspiracy by senior government and media decision makers. I wrote and published this story titled Just Cause Just Facts in 2005. My experience in this case that began in 1987, gave me first hand exposure to the willingness of the government’s team to jump into protecting a huge Wall Street fraud even though they had no apparent benefit other than being on the team.

The most common defense used to discredit citizens who choose to learn the truth is to call them “conspiracy nuts”. I learned that the nuts are the citizens who believe the government’s version of 9/11. The credibility of the most senior government and media officials has been bullet proof even after they are caught in one lie after the next. This is a cultural trait that isn’t likely to change. If the evidence of the 9/11 case continues to be ignored the outlook for change is bleak.

President Obama has promised change and is determined to “look forward”. That is a sly way to obstruct justice. Justice is impossible when criminal investigations are prevented. When criminal laws are applied to regular citizens but are suspended for the most powerful, most senior officials who are considered royalty by President Obama, our revolution and Constitution just disappeared before our eyes.

Americans have destroyed their own country. The conflict of interest being ignored is an irrational medical disorder that can only be treated by citizens who will unite to form a third party determined to win an election. There are no signs for hope that the 9/11 incident will trigger a new beginning.

Our Plan For Suicidal Extinction

Imagine stopping our irrational march to suicidal extinction 50 years too early? Our risk would be having clean water, clean air, less cancer and completely free power from God. The Environmental Forum completely misled its audience by hiding the march toward suicidal extinction.

There were very distinguished speakers who addressed the forum on the impact of the world wide climate change, its impact on our lives, and the economic problems and opportunities that will affect Bridgeport and the State of Connecticut.

Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch stated, “There will be a 50 to 100 year window to remedy the climate change risk.” He also promoted the reading of Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution – and How It Can Renew America by Thomas L. Friedman. Of the 200 reviews on Amazon there were 106 - 5 star, 34 - 4 star, 17 - 3 star, 20 - 2 star, and 23 – 1 star.

Here is an example of a 1 star comment, “Corporate innovation is one of the main ingredients of Friedman's "solutions," so he goes out of his way not to offend any corporate decision-makers, even though it is these folks who are real Earth-destroyers.”

Here is an example of a 5 star comment, “The world is increasingly crowded, he asserts, due to worsening overpopulation crisis. By 2053 global population expected to top 9 billion people from 6.7 billion today, and just 2.7 billion in 1953. If basic needs for food, shelter, education, employment are not met, increased violence and conflict, and even more cases of genocide could arise.”

I was trying to find comments that focused on the 50 to 100 year window Mayor Finch mentioned and I couldn’t find any.

There are two observations I know to be accurate. Americans are terrible at risk management. The mortgage meltdown proves my point. The second observation is I have searched for a scientific prediction as to how long we have to remedy the climate change suicidal issue without success.

My search to get a scientific prediction to learn how long there will be before it is too late to remedy the world’s march to suicidal extinction has gone unanswered. The Mayor Finch assertion that there is a “50 to 100 year window” has the validity that his promise to lower Bridgeport property taxes before he got elected Mayor.

What I have heard from scientists who testified to Congress is that the acceleration of environmental damage that they have studied during their careers is far worse than any prediction they ever made. It wouldn’t surprise me that it is too late for any remedy to work. That leads me to conclude that if it is too late for any remedy to prevent the extinction for God’s critters then there’s no purpose to waste any effort. Eat, drink, and be merry.

Suppose we take the threat of suicidal extinction seriously right now, today. We need to do the following:

1) Mandate a vasectomy for every male age 15 to 40.
2) Erect solar panels on every roof in the world.
3) Erect tidal power generators in the mouth of every river in the world.
4) Mandate only building hydrogen powered vehicles and hydrogen fuel stations.
5) Phase out all coal power generators worldwide by 2015 or America will use its multi-trillion dollar military to blow them to smithereens worldwide.
6) Erect electric wind generation to power the electrolysis for hydrogen production from water and also erect piping to transport the hydrogen to fueling stations throughout the world.
7) Outlaw long-line fishing worldwide to be enforced by the Navy immediately.
8) Weatherize all buildings throughout the world.

When the risk of calamity is suggested to be 50 to 100 years away, we will continue to fiddle and diddle. When people are starving 10 years from now, there won’t be a second chance to start building wind turbines and an electric grid.

Returning to the forum, HCC student, Josh Roe pointed out the mountaintop coal recovery method that has poisoned the water supply up and down the Appalachian mountain range. Josh claimed those rivers were covered up with dirt. A Google search of mountaintop coal recovery will reveal a much worse predicament than Josh explained. The mining companies reduced their workforce by 90% when it was replaced by using dynamite to blow off the mountaintops.

Jacqueline Rowland from the University of Hartford recommended “idealism” and taking showers with friends to conserve.

Andrea Salzburg spoke about grants to fund environmental projects and scholarships for student activism.

And Attorney General Richard Blumenthal opened the program by explaining his successful litigation that prevented a natural gas pipeline from being built in Long Island Sound.

The downside of the Environmental Forum is its assertion that we are in no immediate danger. Risk management for the potential suicidal extinction of our magnificent planet when measured in comparison with the hysterical daily fear of terrorism was like a 450 pound individual who only ate half a cheese cake instead of eating the entire cake.

Hope For Futility

Outsourcing jobs to countries ruled by dictators has destroyed entire industries, occupations and communities in the United States. The devastation of U.S. manufacturing employment was waved away with promises that a "new economy" based on high-tech knowledge jobs would take its place. Education and retraining were touted as the answer.

Prior to the Reagan Revolution, American workers had nothing to fear from cheap labor abroad. Americans worked with superior capital, technology and business organization. This made Americans far more productive than Indians and Chinese, and, as it was not possible for U.S. firms to substitute cheaper foreign labor for U.S. labor, American jobs and living standards was not threatened by low wages abroad or by the products that these low wages produced.
As the tidal wave of job losses and home foreclosures continue to grow, there will be growing desperation that will result in many more burglaries, muggings, and other forms of crimes.

The simple solution is to place a 100% tariff on imports from dictator run countries while new factories are constructed here to manufacture those goods with American labor. A government loan guarantee for all lenders who received the TARP welfare that committed capital to rebuild American manufacturing would jolt a construction boom followed by the staffing of those companies.

Only a third party dedicated to job protection can work. I am a pro labor, pro trade protection, pro bank regulation capitalist economist who worked for Manufacturers Hanover, EF Hutton, and Echlin Inc. I am also an expert trader of derivatives with four decades experience. There is not a glimmer of hope to form a third party. Much more pain for much longer will be needed before the daily dose of Obama’s propaganda will end its spell on the clueless.

Each financial institution that failed to finance the American rebuilding would be required to return the TARP funds on a four month deadline.

There has been a class war by the super elite and the government they bribe to exploit foreign workers by the dictators who use police and military force. As a consequence American workers are exploited when entire corporate divisions shut down in America to profit from foreign dictators who force their citizens to work for crumbs.

The self destructive trade policy by Democrats and Republicans is induced by the bribery system our Congress has written into law. The intimidation of the media and TV commentators by corporate financed economists has stifled every whimper that squeals with indignation for “free trade”.
Jeff Faux was the founder of, and is now distinguished fellow at, the Economic Policy Institute. His latest book is The Global Class War. Dr. Faux said this,
“For two decades, leaders of both political parties have assured members of Congress and the public that de-regulating imports and exports would make the typical American working family richer. It was said to be Economics 101: Americans were better educated and harder-working than other workers and had access to the world's best technology. Therefore, they could easily overcome both the advantages of cheaper wages in poorer countries and the government subsidies for health care and pensions in other advanced economies. Indeed, free trade was said to be "win-win" for workers all over. Americans would go up the wage ladder and workers elsewhere would get jobs on the bottom rungs.

When skilled blue-collar jobs started going overseas, policy elites told workers that they -- or their children anyway -- would get better jobs providing services in the new "information economy." Then the call centers, computer programming jobs, and routine technical positions of that very economy left the country too. Soon, accounting, design engineering, and radiology work began to be shipped overseas to places where college graduates could be hired for less than half the U.S. price.”

Foreign auto companies opened facilities here and employ American workers. That is the model that proves the point. There is no anger by voters to form a third party dedicated to protect American jobs. Maybe when millions more workers lose their jobs and homes and the 2010 elections get closer American voters might awaken. For now the promises by Obama will keep hope for futility alive.

Fighting For Our Future

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Obama received $104,332 from AIG and Dodd raked in $103,900. Obama and Dodd far outpaced the rest of Congress, as the next largest beneficiary received about $45,000 less than each of them. All told, AIG gave a total of $644,218 to federal candidates over the last election cycle in return for the $215 million they ripped off.
The Hartford Courant banner headline screamed, "Dodd's Flip-Flop: Admits Role in Bill Changes that Led to AIG Bonuses."

In an interview with CNN's Ali Velshi, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said, "Treasury staff was working with Sen. [Christopher] Dodd's staff throughout this process."

Geithner's comment came in response to a remark by Dodd, D-Conn., saying that the Treasury Department had insisted on inserting language in the bill that created a loophole for AIG to exploit.

"Treasury staff did express concern about whether this provision was vulnerable to legal challenge," Geithner said.

The senator pledged to go through his list and give back or donate to charity any contributions linked to bailout money. The bulk of Dodd's AIG money during the just-completed campaign season came from about a dozen AIG executives.

They include Douglas Poling, of Fairfield; Christopher Phole, of New Canaan; Steven Pike, of Stamford; Robert Powell, of Westport; Joseph Rooney, of Fairfield; Gregory Ruffa, of Darien; Christian Toft, of Weston; Steven Wagar, of Norwalk; Jonathan Liebergall, of New Canaan; Leonid Shekhtman, of Redding; and James Haas, of Fairfield.

This is not the first time Dodd has found himself in this position of pillorying a corporate villain in one breath and in the next defending himself from claims he's too cozy with the same miscreant.
It was revealed last year that Dodd, who raged against abuses by the mortgage industry, had received a preferential loan for his home. And, as Senate finance chairman, eyebrows have continued to be raised about the contributions he has received from Wall Street firms.

Gary Rose, a Sacred Heart University professor of political science, said this could open the door for someone to challenge Dodd's hold on his Senate seat.

"It continues to raise the spectre of preferential treatment and it may not be true, but the perception, in politics, is reality," Rose said.

In September 2008, the Congress voted to create the Troubled Asset Relief Program. That $700 billion was specifically allocated to buy loans (bank’s assets) that were in arrears. Not a penny of that $700 billion dollars was allocated to pay bonuses to any employees of the 489 financial institutions that received TARP funds.

First we have the $644,218 from the AIG executives paid to federal candidates. Is that an illegal bribe? Even if the money was paid according to campaign finance rules it is an illegal bribe if it was paid in return for Geithner’s and Dodd’s order in the stimulus bill to take money from the TARP welfare payment.

Second we have the $215,000,000 taken by AIG executives at the direction of Senator Dodd and Secretary Geithner. Is that a fraudulent conveyance or embezzlement?

The concept of getting something of value in return for giving something of value is the kickback for the bribe.

Before you come to your verdict you need to know that three HCC professors concluded that AIG executives committed no crime because the “bill” never prohibited taking a bonus.
My rebuttal to all three HCC professors was – stealing is illegal and bribery is illegal too. It is common knowledge that people are not required to be put on notice not to steal. None of the HCC professors responded to that statement which in my opinion makes their reason silly if not irrational.

HCC Professor David Brown is also a CPA. He said, “Embezzlement is a defalcation that is secret.” I replied that in most cases embezzlement is secret but claiming it to be a bonus was their method of trying to make the embezzlement appear to be a legal transaction.

HCC Professor Samantha Mannion is also an attorney and was a federal prosecutor. She stated, “The bailout is not a public trust.” When I attempted to get her to explain the meaning of that sentence she failed to make it clear to me.

The standard of living in America will continue to decline directly as a result of continuing to elect government officials who create policies that favor their large contributors. HCC students will find it to be more difficult to live the great life America offered in previous decades. These changes have been developing slowly since the “Reagan Revolution”.

The AIG executives received a 33385% return on their investment. The TARP rescue package for AIG ballooned to $150 billion, including a new $40 billion federal investment plus $30 billion more available at the whim of AIG. Suppose instead of taking $215 million from our generous stupidity the AIG executives had taken $21.5 billion, what would be different? Is there any amount that would make it clear to all of us that they stole our money?

There is a thought process that has developed in the minds of Americans which allows the substitution of words that names an illegal act such as bribe or bribery and changes that precise act into a campaign contribution. Another common term that has been used by the most powerful corporate executives is the “golden parachute” that is also an embezzlement of stockholder equity in broad day light.

Usually embezzlements are secret acts of crime. In American society the people with prominent jobs who make huge salaries and bonuses are allowed the reverence of royalty. This is a cultural development that protects them from being accused of crime. Bernie Madoff is a prime example. The SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) had been receiving complaints ten years ago by numerous credible sources who reported Madoff but the SEC refused to investigate those allegations. Finally after he was arrested he was allowed to remain in his apartment by the Court in lieu of a $10 million bond.

A $10 million bond to Madoff is less to him than a $10 bond would be to an HCC student pending a 20 year sentence.

While millions of Americans are being kicked into the street from their homes and fired from their jobs, Congressman Brad Miller D, NC asked the correct question of AIG CEO Edward Liddy, “Was AIG solvent when it paid the bonus, excluding TARP funds?” Miller knew the answer to his question was no, AIG was not solvent. Then Congressman Miller accused Liddy and his colleagues of looting AIG while they had access to the money from TARP. Miller’s question raised the legal issue. AIG shareholders have the right to pay their employees bonuses with their own funds. Being insolvent means they squandered the TARP welfare payment.

Each of the HCC professors disagreed with me and Congressman Miller. Each of them believes that the bonuses were legally authorized by contract in addition to the stipulation by Senator Dodd who changed his story twice. “Dodd says he tweaked the law to allow bonuses because the administration asked him to do so,” reported ABC News.

If I was the United States Attorney in Connecticut or Attorney General Blumenthal, law enforcement would be at the AIG Wilton headquarters handcuffing each executive who ripped off the TARP welfare payment before they were brought to the North Avenue jail in Bridgeport for embezzlement and bribery charges.

One of the arguments by each of the HCC professors was that the AIG contract to pay retention bonuses and the insertion by Senator Dodd in the stimulus bill to pay TARP recipient bonuses made it legal. They also believed that the failure of the TARP legislation to make bonuses illegal now makes any criminal charge invalid.

My argument to them was that HCC never warned students or faculty members it would be illegal to steal furniture and computers from the building, but if they did steal furniture and computers from HCC that their defense of not being explicitly told not to steal wouldn’t prevent their arrest and conviction. Each professor chose to ignore that argument by refusing to address its substance and power of deductive reasoning.

The corrupt United States Supreme Court ruled these bribes to be an expression of free speech protected by the First Amendment. If American citizens continue to be so dumb that bribes will prevail, we have lost our minds and the job security and opportunities that made America the best country on earth.

The only remedy available to regain the great system we inherited is to create a serious third party dedicated to win elections to be able to fight the class war that has done far more damage than Osama bin Laden and Al Qaida could ever hope to do. It is a good bet that Osama is thanking Allah five times a day in his cave for not needing to risk any more attacks because he can plainly see that our government is far more dangerous than any plot he could ever imagine.

If students at HCC would unite to form the nucleus of a political party dedicated to protect job opportunities we might be able to convince the other community colleges in Connecticut to join us. Unless we recognize there is a class war dedicated to create unlimited, illegal, greedy privileges for the super elite we will continue to lose the opportunities we have been taking for granted.

"A Bill Of Attainder" is a law, or legal device used to outlaw people, suspend their civil rights, confiscate their property, or put them to death, or punish them without a trial. "A bill of attainder, is a legislative act which inflicts punishment without judicial trial and includes any legislative act which takes away the life, liberty or property of a particular named or easily ascertainable person or group of persons because the legislature thinks them guilty of conduct which deserves punishment."

Article I section 9 of the United States Constitution states, “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto law shall be passed.”

The obvious purpose and reason for Congress to write and pass the 90% surtax on bonuses granted to employees whose household’s income is more than $250,000 at companies that have received at least $5 billion from TARP is a kickback ploy for the bribes legislators intend to receive in the future. Our once great country needs a new name, the United Stooges of America.

Congress is ruling that looting money that came from TARP is sanctified as a bonus. Of course the criminals who looted our treasury are not going to admit they committed this massive crime. They will report the income, pay the normal tax and then they will be protected from any tax crime by the Constitution. Congress diverted a simple crime into an unconstitutional tax.

Congress is certain that the media coverage for passing this bullshit bill will convince the public that there was no crime and it reacted aggressively to recover the money even though it is intended not to work.

Will Americans get taken for another ride? Did the TARP legislation need to explicitly state that the funds were not there to be embezzled or looted? Using the word “bonus” as a description for taking TARP capital, authorized by Congress to prevent insolvency; makes stealing the money seem to be legal.

AIG CEO Liddy is finally asked the right question

Congressman Brad Miller D, NC asked the correct question of AIG CEO Edward Liddy which was, “Was AIG solvent when it paid the bonus, excluding TARP?” Then he described directly that Liddy and his AIG colleagues looted AIG while they had access to the money.

Jeb Henserling asked Liddy if they would return the bonus now and when they put AIG on its feet you can get a double bonus. Liddy turned that bet down.

THE REASON ECONOMY WON'T RECOVER

Desperate times require desperate solutions. The American depression of job losses and home foreclosures is in no way similar to any of the previous recessions including the great depression of the 1930’s. America is now in a class war.

The good news is that the low class would easily win the war against the high class if the low class becomes aware that there is a war. That is the purpose for writing this opinion.
Jeff Faux was the founder of, and is now distinguished fellow at, the Economic Policy Institute. His latest book is The Global Class War. Dr. Faux said this,

“For two decades, leaders of both political parties have assured members of Congress and the public that de-regulating imports and exports would make the typical American working family richer. It was said to be Economics 101: Americans were better educated and harder-working than other workers and had access to the world's best technology. Therefore, they could easily overcome both the advantages of cheaper wages in poorer countries and the government subsidies for health care and pensions in other advanced economies. Indeed, free trade was said to be "win-win" for workers all over. Americans would go up the wage ladder and workers elsewhere would get jobs on the bottom rungs.

When skilled blue-collar jobs started going overseas, policy elites told workers that they -- or their children anyway -- would get better jobs providing services in the new "information economy." Then the call centers, computer programming jobs, and routine technical positions of that very economy left the country too. Soon, accounting, design engineering, and radiology work began to be shipped overseas to places where college graduates could be hired for less than half the U.S. price.”

The massive, endless Wall Street welfare bailout has transferred more than a trillion dollars to 489 financial institutions while millions of average people have been forced from their homes and their jobs. The Boards of Directors of the financial institutions have looted $18.4 billion in full view of law enforcement. They call their embezzlement of funds a “bonus”. President Obama called it shameful. Media broadcasters call it corporate irresponsibility.

"Globalization is a cover for American imperialism, but the beneficiaries are not the American people at the expense of foreigners but corporate executives at the expense of the working class. Jeff Faux offers a comprehensive and devastating analysis."

Faux, founder of the Economic Policy Institute, critiques both Democrats and Republicans for protecting transnational corporations "while abandoning the rest of us to an unregulated, and therefore brutal and merciless, global market."

The issue that needs to be raised to the entire HCC student body and faculty is to learn if we collectively want to fight the class war or do we want to continue losing the war without ever knowing any war exists.

In the past, American workers had nothing to fear from cheap labor abroad. Americans worked with superior capital, technology and business organization. This made Americans far more productive than Indians and Chinese, and, as it was not possible for U.S. firms to substitute cheaper foreign labor for U.S. labor, American jobs and living standards was not threatened by low wages abroad or by the products that these low wages produced.

Outsourcing jobs is the common practice that has been destroying entire industries, occupations and communities in the United States. The devastation of U.S. manufacturing employment was waved away with promises that a "new economy" based on high-tech knowledge jobs would take its place. Education and retraining were touted as the answer.

As the tidal wave of job losses and home foreclosures continue to grow, there will be growing desperation that will result in burglaries, muggings, and other forms of crimes in the Bridgeport area. If the students attending classes here at HCC prefer to ignore the demise of our great country, the future outlook for jobs will keep shrinking. $18.4 Billion Embezzlement Called Bonuses

Bizarre, weird, grotesque, outrageous, crime committed by the super elite is being called normal business mistakes and corporate irresponsibility. That might sound like a brash comment to the completely uninformed, but if I could think of even more brash adverbs to describe the mainstream, established society in America I would. We Americans elected a Congress that gave $700 billion of welfare to banks that went broke. The executives of those banks ripped off that welfare.
It is simple minded stupidity on the part of the entire broadcast and print media to characterize flagrant crime (in the words of Mr. Cuomo) to be “corporate irresponsibility”. Only $3.6 billion of the $18.4 billion was embezzled by Merrill Lynch.
It is now February 27, 2009, when the New York Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo finally decided to question Ken Lewis, the CEO of Bank of America about his part of the embezzlement.

Cuomo added in his correspondence: “in a surprising fit of corporate irresponsibility, it appears that, instead of disclosing their bonus plan in a transparent way as requested by my office, Merrill Lynch secretly moved up the planned day to allocate bonuses and then richly rewarded their failed executives. Merrill Lynch had never before awarded bonuses at such an early date and this timetable allowed Merrill to dole out huge bonuses ahead of their awful fourth quarter earnings announcement,”Cuomo says in his correspondence. “One disturbing question that must be answered is whether Merrill Lynch and Bank of America timed the bonuses in such a way as to force taxpayers to pay for them through the deal funding.”

America has been destroyed by flagrant banking crimes. The recent $18.4 billion embezzlement being called a bonus is a simple crime. In comparison to the criminal process that has destroyed the entire American banking system with “toxic assets” that have purposely not been identified, $18.4 billion may sound small.
Bank executives are not the village idiots who were bumbling into foolish mistakes. These executives are trained MBA’s who designed and then used “securitized packages” that financed more than $2.43 trillion dollars in 2007 alone to be able to generate fees by literally handing out money that bid up the price of homes. While they purposely used the mountains of money to force home prices higher and higher, they solicited suckers by coaxing home owners to remortgage more debt to finance more expensive life styles that were out of reach of their salaries. The brokers’ fees skyrocketed for handing out money they knew would break the banks. That’s a simple fraud.
One of the brokers interviewed on CNBC explained, “The borrower didn’t have a gun to his head.” The crack dealer doesn’t hold a gun to a crack addict’s head to force the purchase of crack either. Crack is an illegal substance where money isn’t an illegal substance. That doesn’t make bank robbery legal because money isn’t an illegal substance.
The essential tool that created the banking wipe out and banking fraud is called the securitized package. A securitized package is similar to a mutual fund. Mutual funds are filled with many common stocks that is priced daily and traded as a single security investment. The securitized package is filled with many mortgages and is also traded daily. The purpose for creating the securitized package is to be able to sell individual mortgages for the lender and then recover the banks’ capital to be able to finance the same volume of mortgages again to be able to charge more fees for the banks’ executives to be able to justify a larger bonus.
This was done in broad day light. Before this “ponzi scheme” came crashing down the broadcasters on CNBC and Bloomberg (the two stock market stations) kept asking their guests, day after day, “Is there a real estate bubble?”
Why would any sensible person in America keep asking the same question many times a day for many months? It would be like going to Seaside Park every day to ask the guests at the park if there was water in Long Island Sound. The real estate bubble was an obvious tidal wave coming directly at the shore.
Who owned the $18.4 billion that bank executives and board members embezzled? The legal question must be -- do the executives of banks have authority to disperse depositors’ funds, owners’ funds, or tax payers’ funds to themselves in the form of bonuses? Bonuses are rewards for jobs performed even better than good performance. Workers are expected to do their jobs competently.
Is the American public so dumb that we will continue accepting obvious nonsense while the entire banking system has collapsed and after the President and his Treasury Secretary decided to create the Troubled Asset Relief Program now called TARP to use a $700 billion capital injection. To then learn bank executives would have the nerve to embezzle $18.4 billion they call a bonus from distinct capital invested by our treasury in return for preferred shares far exceeds outrageous crime? The troubled assets are now commonly called “toxic assets” by bank executives, media reporters, and elected officials.
The shareholders of banks own the equity capital that was wiped out by the “toxic assets” purchased by the banks’ management. It is the prerogative of the directors who were voted on by shareholders and are placed on the banks’ board to make decisions that are in the interest of the shareholders, to reward its management with bonuses. The funds dispersed for bonuses can only come from the equity capital owned by the shareholders.
Shareholders have experienced a massive decline on the prices of their shares because banks have amassed huge positions of securitized packages that are filled with toxic assets, worthless in the free market. They also claim that the toxic assets are so complex that the CEO’s of these banks fail to understand the complexity of the “toxic assets” purchased by the banks’ management. It was the Board of Directors duty to protect the TARP capital by preventing the embezzlement they called a bonus.
The shareholders purchase insurance that will indemnify the directors in the event those directors make decisions that lose the capital of the shareholders with intentional criminal behavior. Paying bonuses to executives that have lost the shareholders’ capital is intentional criminal behavior. There is a legal capital ratio set by the Federal Reserve Bank that must be held in reserve against the banks’ (assets) loans to its customers. The purpose for the TARP investment was to increase the banks’ equity capital depleted by worthless “toxic assets”. Paying that money out for bonuses is a gigantic welfare fraud.
The TARP investment is a very special type of capital that is provided by the US Treasury and is segregated in the form of preferred stock. For the Boards of Directors of the 214 banks to pay out bonuses is nothing but an embezzlement of American citizens’ capital. It is now the obligation of the new Attorney General, Eric Holder, to arrest and indict every board member and senior management of every financial company that paid out the $18.4 billion bonus.
After Secretary Paulson and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, Ben Bernanke persuaded Congress to vote to transfer $700 billion of our (American citizens’ Treasury) money, Paulson purchased preferred shares in return for its bail-out.
According to the CBO's report, the Treasury had purchased $178 billion in shares of preferred stock and warrants from 214 U.S. financial institutions through its Capital Purchase Program (CPP). This included the purchase of $40 billion of preferred stock in AIG, $45 billion of preferred stock in Citigroup, and $25 billion of preferred stock in Bank of America. The Treasury also agreed to lend $18.4 billion to General Motors and Chrysler.
Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan Chase testified to the Congressional Finance Committee that, “We took $25 billion from TARP even though we didn’t need it.” Why is our government distributing our Treasury to a private bank that claims it didn’t need any funds to remain solvent?
Ken Lewis the CEO of Bank of America said, “We intend to repay the TARP money back to the US Treasury as soon as possible.” Every borrower will tell his lender that he intends to repay their loan even if that repayment is impossible.
Bridgeport cops don’t release burglars, robbers, and shop lifters if they return the money they stole. When the employees of businesses embezzle money they aren’t given the option to return the money after they are caught.
When President Obama calls the bonus “shameful” the money wasn’t returned. President Obama knows that Wall Street is the largest campaign contributor to all the Democrats and Republicans on the ballot; he is also an attorney and knows that embezzlement is a crime. President Obama had choices. He could have ordered his Attorney General to arrest and charge those big Wall Street contributors, but instead he decided to say they were shameful.

Can HCC students be the first to analyze the facts and the law to be able to recognize the simple crime committed in broad day light? All bankers who manage the 214 institutions that took the TARP funds mismanaged their banks by their lending process that generated huge fees. That is what happened. The media pundits who broadcast the bonus story are claiming that the bankers will leave their jobs if they didn’t get bonuses.
The legal choice is that they leave their jobs in handcuffs under the speedy trial act and the $18.4 billion should be recovered to buy back the Treasury securities used to finance that bonus. Removing that $18.4 billion was a financial decision that concludes it isn’t necessary for the stability and soundness of those financial institutions.

"It's not the government's money directly, but in the case of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, they were facing a severe crunch," says analyst Brad Hintz, who covers financial firms at Sanford Bernstein and is a former chief financial officer of Lehman Brothers. "Had it not been for the government's help in refinancing their debt, they may not have had the cash to pay bonuses." When asked, the Treasury would not comment directly on Wall Street's bonus plans, though spokeswoman Brookly McLaughlin did reiterate the bailout's intent. "There is broad agreement that the Treasury's capital purchase program was intended to strengthen the financial system and increase lending," she said.
Of course it’s the government’s money directly. It’s our money from our treasury. The aforementioned paragraph was written to mislead its readers.
